Clarissa auditioned and participated in the Univision network reality show, Nuestra Belleza Latina , where she was third finalist and managed to obtain recognition from the audience within the United States and Latin America.

She was crowned Miss Dominican Republic to represent her country in the renowned Miss Universe contest, conquering the jury and becoming one of the audience’s favorites.

She participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina’s VIP season where she was crowned by fellow Dominican Francisca Lachapel.

After her coronation, she began her artistic career in the world of television as co-host on Univision’s renowned show El Gordo y La Flaca.

Clarissa received an EMMY Award for hosting the broadcast of the prestigious “Rose Parade”.

She made her debut as an actress with her first leading role in the film Qué León alongside urban singer, Ozuna.

Clarissa joined the cast of Mira Quien Baila All Stars in support of the Fundación Monumento Viviente de Nueva York which provides educational and humanitarian efforts to the Dominican Republic.

Clarissa returned to the theaters with her role in Los Leones , sequel of Qué León.

Clarissa was selected to bring the character of Lía to life in the film Flow Calle which premiered in select theaters in 2022.

Clarissa participated in the play, Monólogos de la Vagina in which personalities such as Oprah Winfrey, Kate del Castillo, Salma Hayek, and Roselyn Sanchez have also participated.
